The Gracie/Shamrock fight was the best I've seen - it was timed out and became a draw, but it went on for 30 minutes or so.

Oh yes, I have seen Gracie fight.
Helio Gracie (I think it was him anyway) was fighting some Japanese JiuJitsu guy on one video I saw. 2 hours (yes 2 hours) into the fight Helio had his arm broken, but he continued to fight for a further 40 mins or so. They eventually stopped the fight.
These guys are nuts. You may have seen Royce Gracie fight on UFC - he was the champion for a time, until he retired. He was only about 9 stone but could take down people twice his size.

I have a video called "King of the Death matches" taped from Japan, it's got Mick Foley and Terry Funk scrapping it out against various people, it's partially fake I think, but an arm dislocated abd snapped round the wrong way certaintly doesn't look fake.
heh, I introduced my mates to UFC in about 2000 when a couple of fellow Kung Fu students lent me a few videos. It certainly is great viewing. We usually get the pay per view events, the last one we got was top quality - some really good fights.

mind you most martial arts shows are a crock of sh ... Fight School wasn't too bad, but the fights were namby pamby affairs where they got disqualified for ruffling the other persons hair.
Get yourself some Ultimate Fighting Championship or Vale Tudo on DVD for some real "Alright the fight's over, his head has come off" style action.
