Just wishing any of you with irish connections a happy St. patrick's Day and don't forget to have a drink (if you're old enough of course :P) in the name of all things Irish today!

A quick Irish lesson for the day thats in it...

“Dia duit!” – Hello
“Conas ata tu?” – How are you?
“Cen fath?” – Why?
“Ta me ceart go leor” – Im fine
“An raibh tu…” – Did you…..
“Ta me ceathar deag bliana d’aois” – Im 14 years old
“Cad is ainm duit?” – What is your name?
“ An bhfuil tu ag dul go dti an siopa?” – are you on your way to the shop?
“Ta mo breithla an seu la de Deireadh Fomhair” – my birthday is the 6th of october
“An bhfuil ocras ort?” – Are you hungry?
“Slan leat!” – Goodbye!

And for those of you with a weak bladder…

“An bhfuil cead agam dul go dti an leithreas ma se do thoil e?” – Can I go to the toilet please?

A few phrases off the top of my head. If anyone is bored/interested I can replace dates with theirs if they want.
