"Can't... write..."

Bah, I'm having real trouble writing at the moment. I haven't be able to write good reviews for the past 5 months I don't know why, what the hell I'm doing wrong and it's starting to get on my nerves.

It's starting to really grate on me that somehow, months of writing consistant reviews has seemingly damaged my writing ability. God knows why, and many of you will probably think I care too much, but writing is a big part of my life and I hate the fact that I don't what I'm doing wrong.

Any ideas on what I can do? It's unlikely you'll be able to help, but it'd be nice if you coudl try :-)

But truthfully, good work. Something some of us should follow for example. Never heard of sabrewulf (I must be thinking of zeewolf).

incidently, you have to know the game inside out to actually write a decent reivew. Like my winning deathrow review, I knew the game inside out and somehow knew its problems and such well. Also i thought of a theme to consider when it came to reviews. fill it with all sorts of jokes eg try pcg jokes for a poor jamesbond game

i was most surprised that your beyond good and evil review didn't win. In fact, i was actually surprised that if you didn't win it, the mostly likely person was me and my indiania jones review. Who would have thought that someone else would get it right under our noses.


I thought you were potentially a threat at the time and was most certain you would win it. There has to be an explaination why you didn't (or i didn't).

Not really, no. I always get bored and end up writing 1 or 2 every week.

Your missing words in posts by way.

Nearly all my reviews are written there and then, and that generally makes them a little more fluent. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be to write on the same level of quality I once could. Things are going a bit better, my recent SabreWulf review is alright (I think), but still not a patch on earlier ones.

Oh, and as for intros, just write what you feel; your first impression, a short paragraph about the game, maybe it's history. I normally never really think about much.

Also what you want to try doing is not thinking about the review when you write. You know when you just type you know generally what your typing about but you dont know what exactly like when you ignore the words.
