Ner ner :-)
I'm using fruityloops 3, there's been quite a few updates along with fruityloops studio. I'm betting that the studio version has a copy & paste function which'd speed up creation a lot.
It's easier than using Reason although I haven't given Reason much of a chance since I got it - it's very fiddly and trying to get things exact with the mouse can be quite a chore.
If you're making mainly sample based tunes I'd recommend Making Waves or Acid as they both use timestretching software.
If you have a midi keyboard then Fruity Loops and Reason can make use of that.
What's fruity loops like? I've heard of it, but never used it....

Mass market samples and a lack of serious music making tools. I always enjoy using Ejay to make some kickass stuff, I'll put some up at some point.
I also have Reason, Fruity Loops, Making Waves etc etc.
When I sent in some tracks I'd made using Ejay they basically said 'These are blatant Ehay samples but you have good ideas and are rerady to move up the production scale".
So like I say, they seem to frown on the ol' Ejay.
