This may take some of you a while to load up (or if you're Azul, all night :-D), but it's worth it. Some fantastic goals in here, although I have to say number 1 itself is really quite a fluke.

Anyhoo. Enjoy.

Rafael Van Der Vaart's goal was not special at all.

If any of us were in that position, then we would of raised our heel. Just as a reaction.

Luckily for him, it pulled off.

Number 1?!

My interpritation of it was that he was either:

a) going to head the ball
b) diving away from the ball
c) diving really really poorly in attempt of a penatly

His legs, flailed and hit the ball. Fluke.

I'm still doubting whether or not he actually did mean it, though. I mean, I don't even think he knows if he scored that one deliberately. From what I saw, it looks like he's falling forwards, and his heel happens to make contact with the ball.

Or maybe it's an audacious attempt at something random, that luckily pulls off.

Either way, it's a fluke. :-D

They were nice goals, very nice but they were in such a screwed up order. Like the Ronaldihnio one should have been so much higher was an incredible indivicual goal. And the freekick, both I think were better than the fluke of a 1st.

Prfftt critics

Brief summary of each goal for y'all that haven't seen it yet. And if you haven't, I suggest you do so now. Some fantastic goals in there.

20. Marco Di Vaio (JUVENTUS v Milan) - Left-footed volley from 25 yards.

19. ? (SEVILLE v Real Betis) - Passing build-up with one-twos and dummies.

18. Baumann (WERDER BREMEN v Dortmund) - 50-yard chip following keeper coming out to clear

17. Alessandro Del Piero (JUVENTUS v Piacenza) - Jumping flick over the keeper following cross.

16. Ruud Van Nistelrooy (MAN U v Fulham) - The run from the half way line beating a number of players

15. Alvaro Recoba (INTER v Bologna) - Fantastic 30-yard free kick that swerves so much, going in off the post. Deserves higher in the list.

14. ? (LENS v Bordeaux) - Cross to the back post, followed by a nice volley into the top corner.

13. Chevanton (HELLAS VERONA v Perugia) - Incredible drive as he spots the keeper a few yards off his line.

12. Raul (REAL MADRID v Albacete) - Much like the Del Piero one further up, except the cross comes from the opposite side, and the touch from the scorer is a lot more precise.

11. ? (DEPORTIVO v Real Madrid) - Controls it with the chest, and executes a fantastic overhead kick.

10. Fabio Cannavaro (INTER MILAN v Siena) - Picks up the ball with poor control at about 40-yards out, steps forward a few feet and piledrives it into the top corner.

9. Ronaldinho (PARIS SAINT GERMAIN v ?) - Takes the ball at about the half way line, plays a one-two, knocks the ball over a slide tackle, rounds two players and chips the keeper. Amazing.

8. Andriy Shevchenko (AC MILAN v Brescia) - Tomasson to Serginho, Serginho to Tomasson, Tomasson to Serghino, Serginho to Shevchenko - goal. All one-touch. Sheva didn't do much, but what the hell? Nice.

7. Eidur Gudjohnsen (CHELSEA v Leeds United) - Good run by Lampard, cross to the middle of the box, and well-executed bicycle kick by Gudjohnsen. Did "the AJ celebration" afterwards as well. Yup.

6. Fernando Torres (ATLETICO MADRID v Real Betis) - Cross to the back post, completed with a jumping volley.

5. Zinedine Zidane (REAL MADRID v Real Betis) - Ronaldo crosses it outwards, and Zidane volleys it in first time from the edge of the area.

4. Jon Harley (FULHAM v Aston Villa) - Amazing 35-yard strike with high amount of both dip and swerve.

3. Mancini (ROMA v Lazio) - Cross in to the near post, where Mancini does a sort of heel-flick into the opposite corner. Amazing skill.

2. Ludovic Guily (MONACO v Lens) - Medium-height cross smashed in with a well timed spinning kick.

1. Rafael Van Der Vaart (AJAX v Feyenoord) - Complete fluke, but he dives forward to header a low, bouncing cross, and the ball misses his head, clips his heel, and bounces into the far corner of the goal.
