Well, he pretty much is the perfect attacking midfielder in Serie A.
He scores wonderful goals, sets goals up, in a better team I dread to think of what he could do.
I think Nedved and Zidane next to him are the best continental attacking midfielders. It's a crying shame Roma can't afford better players, with them I reckon they could do well.
Cassano is finally looking good too.
Does anyone think real Madrid could Sign Totti?

Alan Smith will leave Leeds if they go down, though, so he's not the most loyal of players. However, he's still there while many others aren't, so I suppose he is in a way.

Maybe so, but a lot of players do go on far past 30. Most retire at 35 due to the fact that years of overexercise are affecting their form, so there's a good few years for them yet...

My point, Zidane and figo are over 30, injuries will be becomming more common, Real's bench is actually quite over-rated

Real Madrid have enough good attacking midfielders, so Totti could well find himself in rotation with players such as Zidane, Beckham and Figo. It wouldn't make much sense, although there would be good backup if someone got injured.
