You're all forgetting about renewal fees!! .com's are expensive at renewal! Check to see what it's going to cost before signing up.
A .com domain for just over a tenner :)

For your first 2 years, then it's upped to the ususal nominet fee after that, which is about £35-55 per domain.
Try http://digital-crocus.com, host there myself, excellent firm, good support and execellent packages
Excellent, cheers for that reccomendation! I've just gone and purchased it now, it's in the registration process.
They basically steal any domain you register with them unless you want to pay for their hosting. (You can't change the DNS. You have to get hosted with them.)
Getdotted were good until they decided to start charging for changing DNS, but now they're just expensive and they try to con you out of money just for simple things that nearly all other registrars give you for free.
I'd go with Ukreg.com, I got a .co.uk domain there for about £6 for 2 years and I'm moving my .com one when it comes up for renewal due to Getdotted being very expensive.
And yes, go with Staghosting for the free hosting. Server 4 is pretty good.
