So does Kazaa lite.
Nothing but "Remotely queued" or "More sources needed"

What else can I use to download stuff?
(Don't say IRC or whatever, cos it doesn't work)

Not if you write over the "deleted" sector enough times.

They probably can, but if they can do that, surely they can see how long it's been on my system.

I thought they could track, even if it's been deleted, what's been on your computer.

Sod 'em. Let them come get me. I'm not a heavy user anyway so they'd be stupid to go for me rather than the major pirates that turn up at the car boots and computer fairs every week.

Edit - Add to the above the fact that every track I download is either Legal or deleted after use they'd be shooting themselves in the foot.

I have only ever used P2P to try-before-you-buy, as it were.

No they don't, I quote,

"Do not link to illegal downloads - Please do not link to any pirated or illegal software/files, as we can be held responsible. Please do not share illegal MP3 files over our chat forums. Any posts pertaining to or mentioning illegal material will be removed."

Kind of. I suppose talking about Kazaa Lite would count, but no one has said they were doing it with illegal files, there are (some) legal ones.

Surely you mean for sharing illegal files? Kazaa itself is legal, although Kazaa Lite isn't a legal progam at all.
