You could buy a Mac, and then you'd be able to turn your computer when you want. Only problem is, it'd then be useless.

I found a "shut down" program. It's name is: AMP WinOFF. I don't remember where I downloaded it, but it was FREE!!!
To do an automatic startup, you have to have a Mac.

buy an AT power supply or shuve some blue tack on the power switch and buy one of those clever in betweeny plug-socket timer things from Argos. Set time and voila.
