The demand for conker was stupidly high just look how many people wanted it for gameaday. Conkers popularity meant THQ could charge 70 quid and still sell them all. THQ themselves said the reason for the high price is so children will not be able to buy it as they wont be able to afford it.

Games are worth tonnes and they should be cause they are ace. i'd paid 100 quid for gold and silver from america and i would pay more if i had to.

Yes th 512 bit cart was used on the Resident evil 2, so it could have FMV.

Yeah, THQ might be having a huge slice on the price. (no rythm intened). And that everyone wants it so they could charge people £60 for it and get away with it. (I would buy it for that much).

I imagine part of the reason is that THQ are shipping it after Rare did all of the work on it.

THQ probably had to pay Rare a hefty sum to bring it to Europe, so they have to add to the RRP to make it worthwhile for themselves.

£60 is way too much. I haven't seen a game RRP that high (provided it wasn't coupled with any add-ons) since Street Fighter 2 SCE. It's way out of order and I don't se how it can be justified, at all. Can it have cost THAT much to make? Not even PD or the Zelda games were that much.

Still, on the bright side, my second hand copy will be worth that much more! ;)

The fact is, however good a game it is, this is just way too much. The only come back nintendo have is that the game is for adults, and as a result the price can be made a bit higher, but compared to other consoles this is a rip off! For this price I could buy 3 NEW games for my DC!

Okay, so it's a brilliant game. But Nintendo really screwed up when they decided to use Carts instead of CDs!

How much will you offer for a copy in pristeen condition? I'll might sell it in a couple of weeks, seeing as I'll be back at Uni and my N64 won't.
