I went round to a mates house and saw in his music collection along with a couple of old Red Hot Chili Pepper albums I fancied borrowing Bon Jovi's album Crush which is, in my opinion, fan-bloody-tastic! I put it on instantly remembering that Track Number 1: It's My Life was a huge hit at the time of release. I didn't appreciate just how good it was though until I listened to it again though and now I can't get it out of my head. It's just superb. All of you try and get a copy of it or download it or something!
You don't like them.
I do like them.
You think aren't serious music.
I think they bridge the gap between AOR and metal better than any other band.

Yeah I know. Should have put in a full stop or something. It was in relation to the albums bit only.

anything i say can only ever be opinion and it's the same for you, my opinion you know.
as for not knowing what i'm on about, you are so far off the mark with that one it isnt worthy of a response.
i'm not alone in my opinion, no serious music could ever take them seriously and i believe you are being manipulated in the same way that boybands manipulate girls.
i once actually liked them and then i grew up and i saw them for what they are.

Led Zeppelin didn't have 30 hit singles. But they did have five number one albums, more in fact.
And Cubist, yes, listen to the damn CD. It's the best one you own, trust me.

Actually, Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora are two really nice guys according to my mate Scott, who managed Tower Records in Glasgow when they played an acoustic set there a few years back. No bull, no rock star crap, fantastic set, and they hung around with the fans.
To call him a complete w***er would involve admitting him being a great actor.
> Cubist, has your Led Zep CD arrived yet?
Yeh arrived on Tuesday last week. Only listened to the first track on the first CD though. Not much else. I was in the shower at the time and just left it playing. I should really get roudn to listening to it sometime.

They aren't marketed anymore. They were always popular because they write great catchy rock songs. They are popular because they are brilliant live. They are far from cliched crap, having completely owned all other bands in the genre.

Not that many people. The Cheeky Girls had what, two hits? Bon Jovi have had something like 30 hit singles and five number 1 albums on the trot, up there with only Led Zeppelin, Rod Stewart, The Beatles.

But they have got the songs, which is why they are popular. And if you knew the first thing about them you would realise that their fanbase is very evenly spread. I've seen them twice, and they amount of hot twenty something females was astonishing.

Between 1986 and 1990 they were simply the biggest band in the world. They outsold everybody.
