"A little help with UCAS points"

I'm curious to know how many points I would have got in the UK system with my exam results so hopefully someone can help me out here, I dont know how this'll work because of different levels for subjects and such, and I'm guessing all my results wouldn't be counted because we do more subjects,

My percentages were:

Maths (Ordinary level) 89%
English Lit and Lang (Higher) 84%
Irish (Higher) 49%
Geography (Higher) 79%
Biology (Higher) 49%
Physics (Higher) 49%
Business (Higher) 79%

The reason I gave percentages is because our grading isnt the same.

hmm...thats confusing! If you look at the link i gave you and try and sort your grades in to that!

I've been thinking of a way to make this thread turn dirty, after 10 minutes, I give up!

I think the best approximation would be going by the Scottish system. At age 15/16 you sit around 8 Standard grades. The year after you sit normally 5 highers. If you get don't get a 1 or a 2 (no letters for Standard Grades, think A or B) then you do Intermediate 2.

Advanced highers are on a par with A levels. Highers roughly AS level I believe.

My guess gives you 402 points seeing as you would have had 3 A's at Scottish Higher and 3 C's and one Int 2 at A.

Normally I'd chuckle at that, but I'm stressed out today so I won't. Anyway Linds, (in %) 80+ for A, 70+ for B, 60 C and so on.
