We had an optional IQ test in Uni on Monday and got our scores back today. I got 151, which is in the 144-160 "gifted" range, and apparently I have strong computational skills, which is just as well doing physics!

Anyways, I brought my little piece of paper home to the parents quite happy with myself and what was their reply?

It was "Gifted? Is that all?"

And that was that. Some parents really just couldn't care less, namely mine.

I think I've hit a nerve...?

I know one guy who is doing pharmacy and his mum said she would be very dissapointed in him if he got less than 80% in all his exams.

Thankfully my parants got the balance just right.
