We've bowed to crippling demand from the forum faithful, and have included an Edit Post feature. If you're logged in, an Edit Post link should appear at the start of the line of links underneath every message - click it, and you can [shock horror] edit any of your previous posts. Once edited, posts will be marked as so.

I ask you kindly that you do not abuse this feature, or think that it gives you the right to post whatever you like, then edit it shortly afterwards. We keep a log of posts before they're edited, so we can see everything you submit.

You could go back 5 weeks and have secret conversations with people by editing your posts back then and them doing the same.

You should be smart enough to consider the implications of what you wrote in the first place and not have to go back and use the edit function.

I'm quite happy about this development. I hate seeing stupid spelling mistakes in my posts and feel the urge to correct myself, which of course takes another post, so now I won't have to annoy people doing that anymore!
