I'm sure it really is superb.

But IGN are just morons.

Just watched the video review and it does look pretty damn sweet. I'll definetly be picking this up when I'm done with Chaos Theory and Timesplitters.

The demo last about 3 minutes from what i hear so you can hardly judge the final game on it.

Saying that though I'm sure it isn't worth 9.9.

Gamespot gave it 8.4. Seems more like it from the way people have talked about the demo. IGN just seem to fall for the hype 99% of the time.

Can we stop driving round in circles now?

KOTOR got 9.5. Which is too high. the point of a out of 10 scoring system is 5 is average. I.e, not too bad, not too good.

9.9 is god like. And yes, in a scoring system, a higher score generally means a better game. No?!

Graphically it was impressive, but a great game graphics alone do not make.

Your issue is with KOTOR getting such a high score that any game better has to go one better score-wise.

I loved KOTOR fool.

But 9.5 is too high for that.

'9.9' suggests near enough the greatest game ever.

Considering all the rave reviews KOTOR got simply for being a good Star Wars game with some intelligence in it this score seems just. KOTOR really wasn't THAT great, this looks like the game KOTOR should have been in many ways and how do you indicate that this game is better than the 9.5 scoring KOTOR? Give it a higher rating.

In this case no, as I've not played it.

But this is coming from a site that liberally splats 9.0+ scores at anything that pleases their taste.

I.e, anything.
