What a situation gaming is in!
It has an even larger audience then ever, stretching from three year olds to people beyond the age of 80! We play them for fun, enjoyment and to gain pleasure! One thing that touches me about this form of entertainment is that it makes my Grandad feel younger! That’s what they need right?
A new army of killer consoles are moving in on the scene, one by one making a bigger impact on the gaming world as time goes on! Classic game giants are making gaming better then ever and new giants are moving in to bring you the best in entertainment!
If you are a gamer at this time, be proud, not ashamed! Think were gaming is going, it could even overtake the film industry one day! Yes, games are getting that interactive!
One thing that makes me more happier then ever is that classic game characters are coming back to make the pleasure more immense. Isn’t it just great how we all can still play 8bit – 32bit games in a time when 128bit monster consoles are taking over! That’s what makes the industry great, it shows we love our games, we love our games characters and most of all we love the people that make our games, and our life so fulfilled with joy!
Ideas for games don’t seem to be dying, if anything they are expanding with technology and I feel happy that when I have children they will be playing the new Mario, relaxing and enjoying the same things I enjoyed when I was their age. That’s something gaming has that nothing else has, and the way things are now it seems that our favourite games will last for a long time yet! It would bring a tear to my eye to see my child enjoy his games the way I did, with the same character I did. That’s something, which has not happened in the past before.
And even when I die, and when my children’s children die, people can look back in their history books and say: “Wouldn’t you of just loved to be at the start of the gaming generation?”
I can proudly say, that we are, and us game players are part of history!

Yes, Sniper. A Nintendo plane was being followed by a Sega plane, and the Sega plane got too close. Another Sega plane forced the Nintendo plane to land on X-Box Island, and now Sega want damages for their plane, X-Box want a free tour around the Nintendo plane and Nintendo want their plane back.

I think this console war upcoming is going to be one of the most involving ones to date.
There is hardly a foot wrong with any console at the moment, all with a lot of support. This years E3 is going to make history in gamers lifes... as geeky as it sounds. :)

I can see gaming continuing in some shape or form after the 'next generation consoles'.
But I see it becoming more advanced then it is now, maybe the way a console is will change to become a totally new idea.

Seriously though, you've got a good point. But then again, gaming may not get better. With the release of the GameCube and Xbox imminent I feel that gaming can't get any better after these two consoles.
So where are we going to go next? Virtual Reality and actualy role play of the game sis the only way I can see
