I remember on Comic Relief once when Ali G said something about poor people not even being able to afford Nike trainers, which was strange because they make them!
In the UK, games companies like Rare and Eidos make games. These games are thought up and created by UK citizens.
And still, the Americans not only get to buy these games before us, they get these games a hell of a lot cheaper.
It's really not fair...

Because the "Why is Wales shaped like a boot?" joke doesn't make sense.
I could do the "Why do people in Swansea use clear plastic bin bags? So the people in Cardiff can go window shopping." joke, but it's too late for that.

Why not just pretend they're Welsh jokes and post them? It wouldn't be racist then... ;0)
I had a whole string of anti-Italian jokes lined up there, but seeing how it could be construed as racist I won't post them.
I am happy with what I got in the gaming world. I've got a good console, lots of games to play, (in fact I've got 6 on the DC now, they should last me for MONTHS), so by the time I've finished them, there's still a couple of hundred other ones out there that I still need to get.
So, I'm content.

At least the UK is treated better than the rest of Europe.

The European market isn't treated as unfairly as everything makes out though.
Considering these games are actually made in Japan, being able to convert them to PAL at all is no mean feat! Be thankful for what you've got Dan
