I come on today, after a two day absence. And all I get, out of nowhere, is bold, italic, and........line flying in my face. Like the opening sequence of Darkplace. Once or twice is fine, but it's in every post I've read.

And for the more predictable amongst you: go ahead and reply with one of the aforementioned new features, it won't be funny.

He's stating that it is being overused. Unnecessarily. Randomly. Pointlessly.

He is NOT saying he is against it.
He is NOT saying it's a bad idea.
He is NOT saying that it should be scrapped.

He's simply saying that the novelty is wearing thin already - it's being used all time, in the completely wrong way.

I dont mind it when its used sparingly, some are getting a bit carried away with themselves, but that'll die down after a while. i can see problems though when the next spamathon happens by JATS. It's gonna be hell on the eyes.
