Ok, I have recently 'fallen in love' with a girl form my class, I can't name her because its disrespectful to her, I don't know if she feels the same way and my friends use these forums and I do not want them to ruin it for either me or her. We have gradually gotten to know each other better over the past few months and the more I know about her, the more intense my feelings for her become. She is very shy (one of the many things that attracted me to her), and I don't want to be too forward in case she backs off and things become awkward between us, If I can't be her boyfriend then I would rather be her friend. What should I do?

It reminds me of part of this film called Schindler's List.

I think you should ask her out, then try and kiss her. If you stand around waiting for shy girls to make the first move then someone else will eventually come and steal her away from you.

Awesome. Just when I thought you couldn't become any more contemptible.

Ask her out.

Whats the worst that could happen?

(She could step back in shock and fall down some near-by stairs breaking every bone in her body and land eye first on a rusty nail sticking up through a cracked floor board, bursting her eyeball and falling through the floor onto the cat's litter tray)

Quiet you, that was a one time thing that you agreed would never be spoken of again!

(heh heh heh)

this sounds very familiar to me, here's what you do,
you talk to her when you are alone, never in public, do not under any circumstances tell anyone else, and ask her to keep quiet too, friends can cause problems because they spread the news around and if they don't approve, remember her friends are always in her ear, if they dont like you youre up against it,so keep it quiet. remember that she is shy and the last thing she wants is to be the centre of attention.
and enjoy it because as you get older it gets a lot more complicated.
