You will need a chess board and 8 queens (just use 8 pawns, but remember that they have to be able to move in the same way as a queen would).

The idea is to place all 8 queens onto the board in such a position as that non are attacking each other from any direction.

This sounds easy but is actually rather difficult. I cant even do this myself.

That's it. Can move the width of the board

The queens movement is vertical and horizontal (like a rook), diagonal (like a bishop) and what else? Havent played for some time.
