The idea is to place all 8 queens onto the board in such a position as that non are attacking each other from any direction.
This sounds easy but is actually rather difficult. I cant even do this myself.

Well, obviously you dont need to look at the solution. But if its boggling anyones brain to the point of frustration then that will put them out of their misery.
I would however say that its easier drawing a grid in paint, then using straight lines to check for conflicts.
Thats how i done it.

Yep: up, down, left, right, up-right, down-right etc etc however many squares it likes. It does everything except jumping about like a knight.
