Petty in real life? Heh. Hardly, I got bored of arguing with people in the real world a long time a go, I moved on and made a life for myself. I say again, evidently others still have a long way to go.

But the kind of person who gets into a hissy fit (see below) about the slightest thing on am internet forum is also quite likely to be petty in real life. If anything it's easier to be the 'real you' online because you don't have any expectations to live up to.

Well maybe you should try to actually make a life in the "real world" as you like to put it. I don't need to make friends on an online forum, evidently others do.

Most people are very different online to offline, just as they are different in groups to by themselves. Human mentality.

Or being mental.

I think a lack of online charm is indicative of a lack of real life charm.
