Why change the name from sexually transmitted disease to sexually transmitted infection?
To me “disease” has more impact then “infection”. It’s pointless.
Why do names change? I remember when Snickers was Marathon.

I suppose one had to change, especially with the increase in phone sex lines.
Gotta be a joke about 'catching an STD from fingering the phone' in there somewhere, but I can't be bothered.

Killed millions and millions of Native Americans when the Brittish went to America for the first time because their imune system had never encountered it before. Ok it's pretty common all round the world now but people do die of it as hard to believe as it is.
