my 'female friend' who I have random casual sex with wants to go on 'the pill' so we dont have to pay for those friendly rubber sheets that stop us making babies.
What I want to know is:
- Is the pill always sucessful in stopping women getting preggers?
- Does it stop the whole 'ovulation' thing, or just stop the egg being fertile?
- Does it mean there is less of a chance of her being 'fertile' in the future if we goes on the pill now?
I'm sure you can answer those questions between you :-)
Thanks, as always.
heat kills sperm by the million.
you too can commit mass spermicide.
Those little friendly pieces of rubber will save you getting STD's, no matter how unlikley. Plus, they're FREE!
I know! I went and stole the whole bucket of them at my local health clinic. It was so damn funny.
Anyway, it's good to be like... 99% safe. Plus the pill isn't nearly as effective as rubbers so you know.
Thats my advice.

No problemo.
The pill helps me for both reasons so I love it.
I at 5 foot am tiny and to bleed unnaturally for 14 days straight was bad BAAAD!!! So this cuts that all down and helps me from losing mass amouts!
And I am in a long term relationship so ... yesh.
BUT we were both virgins when we met and kinda... have only experimented with each other. So if you are sexually active with more than one women or are probably weary of the other foxy chick your boning I would recommend a johny as well just for the sake of no green smelly weeners!
It is effective dude - but make sure she aint a dickquad. My boyfriends mum's mate hasd got pregnant THREE times on the Pill. She is either one un lucky be-atch or does something very wrong.
Be very careful dont be all reliable. Is good you are thinking of it though. So much more effective than a condom alone

Christ, everything gets feminist!
Stick to a double dutch best of both worlds method OK!?
If your lady goes on a third generation pill this means it will consist of two hormones. Progestorone and Oestrogen.
These pills will do certain things.
The pill is designed to 1) ease a women's period and 2) stop pregnancy.
The pill is usually 99.9% effective IF TAKEN CORRECTLY!
OK, The pill stops you from getting in pregnant in various ways...
1) Stopping you from ovulating (releasing an egg)
2) Not producing the think lining that the egg would bed itself in when fertilised
3) The vaginal fluids around the cervix would thicken to combat oncoming sperm...
These will only work if she takes the pill regularly.. like on the dot each day. If she misses one, heavily smokes, has diarheoa, pukes or takes antibiotics or saint johns wart remedy it will interefer and decrease the high working percentage.
It is the most effective combat of pregnancy other than sterilisation BUT nothing is 100% effective so you have to take this into account and therefore use the pill as accurately as possible.
The pill can help periods (as you no longer release an egg and produce the real think lining you now just have a tiny two day build up) thus meaning PMT and other awful occurances are eased by the pill.
Some women react not to well to some prescribed versions but there are many - if she feels ill or sickly with one type there may be another her body would be fine with.
Any more qu's fire away
