What do you think about this matter?
i made some truly wonderful friends at school and we're all still pretty close, see each other a coupla times a week.
i quite well at school, certainly as far as exam results go...
but i have to search for those things behind countless memories of humiliation, abuse, bullying, torment, misery and anger. i don't think people who are physically 16 have quite made it there mentally half the time :(
so yes, a lot of the worst times i've ever had, but in meeting who i met, it was also a catalyst for some of the best times as well :)
It just so agressive - teachers vs. students.
And when I strolled into college at 12, down an empty corridor, I thought, "If this was school, I'd be sh!tting myself right now."
Momma FFF's a teacher - I was talking to her yesterday.
If they let kids wear what they want, let them eat and drink in class and let them smoke in a certain area at break and lunch - there would be 90% less problems.
And she said she wouldn't care if that happened, because it would make everyone's lives a lot easier.
I really do miss those times, won't have it that easy again ever.
> Youve got no money becoase of school getting in the way of getting a job.
The whole point of school is to get an education so that in time you will have the opportunity to go on to Uni and hopefully get qualifications to get a job for life. Why do you need so much money when you are a kid? You're still at home, no bills to pay or mouths to feed. Why have to worry about money so wrong. You seem to miss the point that school for most is a means to an end, and that end is getting a good job with real prospects.
My step dad was in the RAF so we moved from place to place alot. I thought it was going to be really bad moving from school to school but it was great. Apart from the fact that every school teached in different ways and taught different things i was never around to learn one thing hence why i think i am not a bright spark. I think also i just took note of all the fun stuff. Anyway i met many many great people and i even went to germany. Where i went to an english school but the school in Germany had to be the best ever. My school was an hour and a half from where i lived but the fun we had on the bus down there was great. So getting to see everyone at school was heaps of fun everyday. I never once woke up thinking i dont want to go today.
and the holidays......I now work in a lace where we get 21 days holiday a year....not the 15 weeks we had at school! and you were guaranteed NEVER to have to work the weekend!!
Sod it...I'm getting my satchel and pencil case and I'm going back! and this time I'll learn something!!!!
