What if there was some kind of program in the games shop that helped the customer decide the correct choice of game for them. A sort of questionaire on subjects: -
" What games to you prefer? "
A. Strategy
B. Action
C. Fighting
D. Racing
You get the idea, and at the end of it, it will process the information on yourself and decide the correct game for you that they have in stock. I think this is already being done in phone shops so why not in games shops. I am sure it would save a lot of hassle for the gamer and at the end they are not disappointed with their terrible choice of game in the end!

The current system is and always will remain the best but it is time someone thinks of a new method
The best way to see if you like it is to ask if u may play the game on there machines. They sometimes let you do it and then you can see if you like it

Great idea, that's the best I've seen in a long time. I think SR should implement this sort of 'search by genre' utility onto their website as well, it would be a lot better than just searching by manufacturer.
Once they've implemented it, they should then send you AT LEAST 5 games, because it's such a great idea.
With games I get later, I'll usually play them, or at least see the online opinion.

First of all it would need to be constantly updated cos there are so may different games out there!
Secondly I like to have my freedom of choice in games shops, and I like to take risks too! I sometimes by games I'm not sure of the look of and I usually find they're the better ones and the fact that I gambled on a sudden decision makes me feel great!
And anyway I like to beat computers, so a computer chosing games for me doesn't appeal to me.
