I tried to do an RMA, but Ebuyer wont let me, say it needs to go back to Philips direct. Its under 30-day return limit though, so I have emailed for a refund.
Does any1 know any other contact info apart from this crap enotes? Like an Email, Head Office, Fax, Address?
Any1 ever taken them to small claims court at all?

That would have screwed up his motherboard, graphics card, etc... Since his new monitor works fine i'd say its a safe bet that the monitor was the gypsy.

Not necessarily, I'd say.
If the PSU itself was faulty, it could have caused some kind of surge of sorts.
Non?
Oh, ok then.
I'd get myself an LCD if; 1. I had the money 2. The cheaper ones could handle solitaire without ghosting! lol!
But can someone please help with the below post?
But, it isactually connected. The ATX cable to mobo. Mobo supplies power to Graphics Card, Card sends signals to Screen.
This is someit I have just written on another forum, someone help plz:
Could it have been caused by EMF at all?
This is what I did:
-Turned off power
-removed cables
-Moved computer onto table
-Removed all power connectors, using wristband btw
-Removed PSU from the case
-Replaced PSU with the new Antec Truepower 380W
-Replaced all power connectors
-Put side back on and placed by desk again
-Attached all the cables back
-Turned on the power
-Booted (worked first time now :D Problem Solved)
-Monitor was all green!!!
I tried everything as mentioned above, but at one stage, I only turned off power at the wall and removed the monitor cable and I got a shock.
The arrangement of my desk is:
Computer on left ledge, Speakers behind monitor, Screen centralish. The desk is only about 90cm or so.
I just dont wanna get a new one then the darn thing dies again. Could the PSU be zapping the monitor at all?

FWIW DONT tell them you changes the PSU as that puts you at fault and then they don't have to do anything!
