best bet is to go to the steam forums i am sure they have had thousands of posts asking about it so just have a look through there.
You should probably email Steam if you're having problems, although I can't guarantee that they'll give you any advice that will actually help.

A shop in Harrow called.... I don't remember but it wasn't A big company like GAME. They sell games for quite cheap in there.

I got the collectors edition. You know the one with the other games on the disc. And it comes with a tshirt. I got it for £20. I saw House of the dead three for the same price but I thought nahhhhhhh.

Not really. Steam is a ball-busting load of crap. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky one's who never has a problem with it, but I have suffered by their hands on a few occasions.
