So United slip even further away from title contention and into 3rd place after a draw against Fulham. I'd just like to take this time to congratulate Fergie for once again screwing around with the squad and costing us another win. Giggs, Van Nistelrooy and Howard on the bench?? We're behind in the league you gum chewing idiot not 15 points ahead.
Someone needs to explain to Fergie when you are behind in the league you put your best possible line up out so they can actually win games and either gain on the leader or at least stay the same distance from them, you don't go putting a weakened line up against a good team whether or not they've played in Europe the other day. If Keane can play almost the whole game and show up on saturday so can everyone else.

So here you go Fergie some nice slow clapping for you *clap...........clap*

I agree - clearly won the ball, and it wasn't a challenge from behind. Still, thankfully it didn't matter in the end.

As for United's penalty... I don't think it was.

Ha ha! Just kidding!

You'll rarely see a more obvious case for a penalty. The ONLY reason I can think it wasn't given was because Van der Sar quite deliberately pulled his arms back behind him as he ran into Saha. Quite how the ref got suckered by that, though, I'll never know.

Credit to Ruud, he doesn't really dive anymore.

The only thing Ruud was incensed with was the fact that for once, a GENUINE Man Utd penalty has NOT been awarded to them.

Stick to diving Ruud, that's what I say =D

He shouldn't have done it but i don't blame him one bit for doing it. It was the most blatant penalty i've ever seen, the only thing Van Der Sar could have done to make it more obvious was to rugby tackle him down to the group then do a little jig after, even then with that ref i wouldn't be holding my breath for the decision.

Fulham always give us a decent game and today was no exception, it was a good game of football to watch.

I am dissapointed with the selections, because in a must win game we left our best striker and creator on the bench. It's not surprising though people Fergie's team sleections in recent weeks have been baffling to say the least.

Saha had a decent game today and I have been impressed with his performances so far and Ronaldo seems to have starting thinking about what he's doing other than justs running and doing a few tricks.

Oh and the reason Ruud was booked is because he ran all the way to the 18 yard box to argue with the red when the penalty wasn't awarded, he shouldn't have done it specially when he was on the bench.

Anyway, Fulham again next week - I hope the players have a good weeks rest and don't try too hard in training lads cause you'll proabably find yourself on the bench putting your feet up with a cup of tea in your hand.

I wasnt surprised Van Nistelrooy was on the bench. He missed a hatful of chances agaisnt Leeds last week showing perhaps he was in need of a rest and the trip to portugal must have drained him.

The inclusion of Fletcher still baffles me though.

I also heard that Keegan attempted to do it, twice, AND FELL OVER BOTH TIMES.

Didn't actually see what it was for because i was e-mailing someone at the time so couldn't say. I just saw Wiley walk over to him and book him. If that is the case then i agree with Wiley, how dare Ruud try to keep the pace of the game going, i hope he went around and booked all those pesky kids as well throwing the ball back to the players.
