"why do people insult others"

well I have this friend and ever since he started posting threads on some forum he's been getting all these post calling him a muppet, telling him to grow up and stuff but the thing is he's posting proper stuff and he just gets insulted for that.

Why do people insult others is it because they have nothing better to do than put someone else down or is it that they have low self-esteem?

I don't with u coz I've never really spoke to anyone on here until now, but I have diagreed in the past

Well if he puts up with it for a few weeks until he learns what is worth posting and what isn't, then he'll cope just fine.

It's ok I'm not one of them, I just thought I'd pop in and have a browse and post a thread hoping for a tidy reply, but it doesn't matter
