"why do people insult others"

well I have this friend and ever since he started posting threads on some forum he's been getting all these post calling him a muppet, telling him to grow up and stuff but the thing is he's posting proper stuff and he just gets insulted for that.

Why do people insult others is it because they have nothing better to do than put someone else down or is it that they have low self-esteem?

I have only used short text at least once in only yet a few posts, I don't use them in every single sentence or paragraph, if others do It's up to them but I only use them very rarely so can't complain there!

Well can you tell me where I have used these short texts In all my postings please?

I know what contents to use on forums been in plenty to know what to do, plus I'm older and probably wiser than most forumites on here.
So yes I do know, and I am definely not leaving

In text messages yes, on forums, rarely. I can stand the odd word here and there, I do it myself sometimes, it's the people who write entire posts in text speak that irritate me.

You have yet to learn the ways of this forum if you dont like it leave.
