What a great match this has been. Edu with two and then Pires with the third. Celta have also got an Edu on the scoresheet, with Jose Ignacio getting their other.

Currently, Roy Makaay's goal seperates.
And AC Milan are being held 0-0 in Prague.
Earlier on, Lokomotiv Moscow beat Monaco 2-1.

Well, Keane's off - straight red for stamping on the Porto keeper.
The pitch did seem very bumpy in places, particularly on the wing. Not that that is an excuse - we didn't play well, and that's that.
That ref though - Anders Frisk was it?
Seen him a number of times before, and I can only describe him as "consistently poor". And I mean both ways - he didn't favour either team, but his decisions often border on ludicrous. How he keeps getting selected, I've no idea.

If we defend like that... but i doubt it i don't think the pitch helped us play the way we normally do...

Arsenal would be stupid if they just sat back and defended the lead. I can't see Wenger doing that though.
For me, Arsenal look like the best team in the world. They didn't seem to play as well as they could of against Celta, but they still had good sharp one touch passing.
I don't know what I'd like the final to be between. I did want Real Vs Man United in the final to see if Beckham would score a last minute winner from a free-kick, but now I'd like to see Arsenal play Madrid.

Indeed they do, we have seen enough of the Celta Vigo team to suggest they can score at Highbury.
Arsenal need to go for an early goal, as if they get one quite near the start, Celta need 3.
They have to attack, just to be sure.

Makes no odds if we lose 2-0 at Highbury though!
3 away goals is a good cushion for us aswell.
