Apparently you get paid little, lots of waiting around and it's kinda boring. Still I'd like to experience doing one, maybe something exciting like a murder case.
Q1. What was Homers answer to getting out of jury duty?
And well done Smedlos you got the right answer :) cheers to Borat and Jason for reminding me of that episode though, heh it was funny.

I'm not allowed to do it until at least May 2008 as I left a legal job in May 2003 and you can't do it for 5 years after you leave as there is a chance the case you get called up to is one you've worked on in the past and therefore you can't be impartial and unbiased.

You get paid by the company you work for plus you get expenses (travelling for example) and a free lunch. I know someone who did an attempted murder and arson case and it still upsets her to think about it :(

Say you're prejudice against all races :D
My mum was sent a letter for it but she never did it as my dad had just died and she had 3 kids to be with.
Then my stepdad he has done it. He loved it lol but i cant say i would want to be involved in anything like that. Id try my best to get out of it but apparantly you need a damn good excuse not to do it.
Was that the episode?
I actually wouldn't mind jury service.
Still makes me chuckle ...
