"Jury duty"

I mentioned that my ex has just finished doing it, wondered if any of you guys have done it? I'm not sure how they do it and how you get called up for it but it seems like some people get it a lot. I guess it depends where you live.

Apparently you get paid little, lots of waiting around and it's kinda boring. Still I'd like to experience doing one, maybe something exciting like a murder case.

Q1. What was Homers answer to getting out of jury duty?

Saying your prejudiced against everything wuld make your decision fair well sort of if you get what I mean.

I'd have thought the best way to get out of it would be to send back a letter saying you're prejudiced agains all minorities, religions and so on, so you wouldn't be able to make a fair judgement... ok, you'd probably have MI5 following you around but at least it would work!

I got called up about two years ago but I sent them a letter with the usual "I'm a crip and need a hoist/carer/etc." and they replied with "You're excused".

I've already got my plan formed for if i ever get called for it, in the interview process to determine whether you're fit for a jury or not just tell them you'll find them guilty no matter what, everyone's guilty of something so even if he didn't do the crime he probably did something else, so let him rot in (i.e enjoy the trimmings of) jail
