I know this is a few days old but I thought I'd post it anyway. They finally relaxed the restrictions. You can take water and perfumes etc but only 100ml or less and they have to fit into a plastic sealed bag. 100ml sounds small that's not going to be much water is it :S

Always have to take my jacket and belt off to go through the detector. And I always forget and wear my trousers with loads of zips on, so of course it always goes off anyway!

My belts always seem to set them off so I don't wear one when going through the detectors.

For me it took several minutes, my hand luggage was packed and he wanted to go through it all. I think he enjoyed patting me down. heh.

I also got random searched but that was just where they pat you down only took about a minute.

Really? what airport was that? I was at heathrow and I pretty much just walked through. It was only at the airport in Singapore I was stopped and had my belt checked.

They were still these when I flew so it must have only been in the last few days they've been relaxed.

When I went through you had to go through the metal detector in the bare minimun of clothing - I had a t-shirt, jeans, boxers and socks on.
