To record the tracks from a CD seperately;
1.Press Menu whilst the recorder is stopped
2.Select SYNC-R press enter
3.Select On, press enter
4.Press Play whilst holding record
5.Play the CD. The MD should start recording when it receives the sound
6.To stop press 'stop' :P

Here we go.
TO ERASE A TRACK
1.Whilst playing the track you want to erase, press Menu.
2.Find Edit, then press enter.
3.'name' should flash in the display, and the track should be played repeatedly.
4.Find Erase, then press enter and enter again to confirm.
5.The track should be deleted and all the rest are renumbered.

Hope it helps!
