Two sharks are swimming around doing their thing and one turns to the other and says....
"Jeez Bruce, I'm sick of eating Tuna all the time....Lets go to Morecambe Bay and have Chinese"

These jokes seem to be circulating the mob. phone circuit.

This is the latest - a couple of weeks old mind.

It's claimed that in the tragedy, they were told to keep working until the water got to knee high.
Unfortunately, Ni Hye was in the van.

Oh dear.

I went to Morecombe for a Chinese meal the other night but, after we'd ordered, it took ages to arrive. Apparently, they had wait for the chef to wash up.

It was a riptide though - they can appear to just be small laps of waves, then it can suddenly spear onto the bay.

Think of it from their POV - they arrive in the country with no way to earn a living, other than to be told what to do by their "masters"... and in this case they're told to pick cockles from the seabed. Well, it may seem like common sense to us that it's dangerous as soon as the tide comes in, but it was obvious to them that it wasn't.

And to be honest I don't think we're in a position to call them stupid, as we have no idea what theyve been through in life.

Having said that however, don't think I feel sympathetic for them; I know from past experience that once has a Chinese has made it rich, he/she won't give a toss about who helped them on their way... unless it threatened their financial security, of course
