at the Brits?

Glad I never watched it

White Stripes and Bassment Jaxx were well deserving, everything else was pretty much guff.

Anyway the dance category is usually utter TRIPE anyway. The Brits aren't really a reflection of something thats good, just something thats managed to get itself to be the most popular.

The Darkness have their head so far up their ársés they're going to need a few strong men to pull them out.

They recorded their album about 10 miles from where i live... go me... But i just turned it on as muse started playing, and soon turned it off after they finished... Was rather impressive, yet the audience didn't seem too excited by them (most of them anyway).

No, it's just plain stupid. Coldplay may be quieter, but that does not make them boring (although, again, I don't really like them much - waaayy over rated). What is boring is some bloke dressing up in a psuedo-retro costume and blaring out stuff that can't hold a candle to AC/DC, and then blabbering arrogance because 'that fits the bill' of a rockband. The Darkness aren't that bad, but I don't like them much, and it's when they win Brit awards and then declare something like that (which is both attacking a similar form of music, which is stupid, and just a...... stupid comment), one has to laugh.

Justin is heavily into rock. The compilation album 'Permission To Rock' is songs that he and The Darkness chose as great songs.

And there's some damn good songs on that album- 'Breaking the Law', 'Ace of Spades', 'Paranoid', 'From Out Nowhere' and 'Poison' are prime examples.

Depends what kinda music you're normally into. Some people like Coldplay's style, but if you're into rock music (and i take it Justin is, what with him being in a rock band and all...), then they may seem a little boring.

Hawkins said something like; 'We're the best, because we're not boring like Coldplay'.

That comment, *anyway* you take it, is unbelievably stupid, albeit me no really like Coldplay.

You should see him play piano! The guys from Muse are all Grade 8 piano, and if you can er....'aquire' some clips *cough*cough*KAZAA!!!*cough*cough* of them in the studio it's guaranteed to amaze you.

Muse's performance was outstanding. I had no idea how competent their guitarist was; that solo took my breath away, literally.

Damn good song as well, otherwise. :)

I thought that Muses performance was the best of the night.
