I do not know if anyone else has tried this, but I am going to give it ago. Basically every two pound coin you get you save it some where for a whole year, you must try and not spend it. If you collect every single two pound coin you can for a whole year, without spending a single one, you should have a lot of money.

My brother's mate did this and he managed to get a holiday and a DVD player. So I thought I would give it ago.

Anyone else tried this with failure or success?

He could do that but what if he got a raise? Got a new job? Got fired? Or what if he didn't sit down and work it out and instead just let it accumulate and get it at the end. Oh and don't forget interest.

He won't be surprised because he knows how much he gets; just work out 10% of is wages, it's not hard

Put 10% of your paycheck every month into a seperate account and at the end of the year withdraw everything from there. You may be surprised.

Strong willpower is required.

And also, I'd love to do that sort of thing, but my money gets put into my bank, so I rarely ever see coins.
