I just made my cat walk really far on it's back legs, for a bit of chicken. She didn't complain, so it must be ok!

Because her parents wouldn't be too happy that you murdered their daughter.

Alternatively, my cat frequently runs around the garden with a dead bird in it's mouth - why shouldn't I?

I have to stand on two legs all the time, I don't see why cats should get out of it.

I do it all the time. I open the fridge door and she goes up on her hind legs and leans against me to get my attention, I get bit of chicken and then dangle it just above her and she follows me on her hind legs occasionally swipign at it to get it. I alway give it to her after a few secs though. I just make sure she's at her bowl though because I don't want her eating chicken all round the shop.

I've tried that a couple of times, but my cat is so lazy it's not easy.

It is perfectly OK: It doesen't hurt them. I think. :)

I would just call it fitness training, nothing wrong with it!
