Sony have just announced that the Playstation 2 isn't reaching expectations and with complaints on certain systems not working and the loading times being "Too long" and that the games aren't what people expect them to be.

So Sony have declared that instead of waiting for the Plystation 2.1 to re-release the system they are making a complete overhaul of the PS2 to be called the Gamestation and with the Emotion chip 2 and specs to challange Gamecube's and even X-box's.

The bad news is that the already made PS2 games don't work on the new system and all games in development including MGS2 will have to be converted on to the new system so inevitably delaying all the most popular games by several months.

The PS2 is Sonys first taste of failure, Nintendo have their virtual boy and Sega have their well everything.

Here's to the future

This is what Kanomi haas announced "The GBA version of MGS2 (Which has been confirmed) Will link up with its bigger brother" Unless Nintendo are letting Sony use the GBA then I would say that a GC version is definite.

After 5 successful MGS games on a Nintendo system i would say Kanomi would be more interested but hey its not all bad news sony fans if we gwt MGS2 then you might be getting decent Castlevania games and maybe even mystical Ninja

Actually in school I haven't heard any complaints or anyone even talking about PS2!

The console isn't what people expected, in fact in todays standards it's pretty average!

If customers aren't complaining, why did Sony pay £121m to sort out problems with customers PS2s in the UK?
