Took my dad 25 mins and me 45 mins.
Dont try it if you know you will give up after 10 minuets, stay with it and you will slowly work it out.
If you do wotk it out dont say on here how you did it as it will spoil it for others.

huzzah. im out in 30 minutes. the steel rod was a joke of a find. the battery too. whoever said it was a clicking lottery was right. quite good though and the illiterate jap's text was funny.

The battery is down the side of the mattress, either at the pillow end, or at the foot of the bed, by the wall.
