Don't know why it's taken me so long to watch it, but anyway I did. Wish I hadn't bothered to be honest, 1 way of describing it would be a load of old gash.

What were the Wachowski's thinking?

The first film was excellent, but this? this was unspeakably awful. The kung-fu in the film is terrible, really bad stuff. Why was Neo walking around in a dress for most of the film? what the hell was that dancing scene about? why did they turn Agent Smith into a complete ponce? what in gods name was the architect talking about, visa vie?

Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh

Admittedly the chase scene was impressive, but that's as far as my praise of the film goes. The dialogue was awful, Keanu Reeves was even more wooden than usual, the leather clothes they all wear don't seem cool anymore - they're just plain gay.

What a big smelly t*rd for a sequel.
Think I'll be keeping a wide birth from Revoloutions or whatever it's called.

Talking of character development, what about Morpeheus? He went from being one of 'the most dangerous men alive' (As Smith puts it in the first film) to a complete wuss by the third one, taking a back seat to Niobe at the end (even when his only job is to press a switch or something, he does it wrong) and practically crying when the sentinels stop attacking.

Neo vs Smith at the end of The Matrix was amazing. Great martial arts and it told a story. The burly brawl was fun but then the final Neo vs Smith at the end of Revolutions was terrible. Just... terrible.

Some fanboys loved it because it was like Dragon Ball Z, but all I saw was an uninteresting fight scene between two people, one of which had beaten the other twice already. Not exactly Luke vs Vader at the end of Jedi, was it?

Tis strange. The first film is unspeakably fantastic. Really and truly is a tour de force of good action sci-fi with a serious brain.

But then the next two, all the philosophy and stuff sounded contrived, rather than being puzzling and thought-provoking, and it was too obviously worn on the sleeve. I think there was an aspect of 'old news' in terms of fights, because nothing could ever, ever beat the Lobby scene from the first film, but that isn't an excuse for the way the second two just kinda lost it and tore down the whole reputation of the series with them.

It was alright, I liked it. But if you didn't like it, then yeah, stay away from Revolutions. I liked Reloaded but even I was fuming at just how terrible the final film is.

They spend about 10 minutes in the matrix, the rest of the time Morpheus is a co-pilot and Neo is wandering around with a blindfold on.

It was better than I thought it would be which isn't really saying much as I expected a typical hollywood f**k over. The sex scene and rave scene were among the most retarded decisions I have seen from a director. If I want to watch sex I would watch a porn film (ala Emmanuel) , if I wanted to watch a rave scene then I don't think many would argue that the ones in Blade/Blade 2 were more than pleasing. They tried to take on too much on with the second film in an attempt to try and better the first which was a BAD mistake. Instead of letting the story flow they introduced too many new elements and aside from a couple of scenes the rest of the film was awful. No wonder Jet Li turned down the role of the Oracle's body guard, he proabably read the t*t ass script. Having said that don't get me started on Western Jet Li films...

If you thought Reloaded was bad, then see what you think to Revolutions. Thats even worse.
