I never really understood why everybody hated Townies, but now i'm pretty sure why.
Today 6 kids come in through the back entrance of the school. Went to the ball court at the back and beat the living daylight out of some other guy that had pushed their mate ealier.
Round the front of the school is where the skaters hang in like a gang near these steps. The townies walked round the front and approached the skaters picked 4 people out and beat the them up. Purely because they where skaters. One of the guys used to be a friend of mine, he had to be taken to hospitial for stiches.

Townies are basically a load of idiots who think they are hard; in reality they are idiots. I mean, who'd be dumb enough to customise a Vauxhall Nova, let alone own one?
My school spent £10,000 on spiked metal gates surrounding the peramiter of the school, and the leave the gate open.

I walk past my old school most days, and it's turned into Guatanambo (sp? whatever) Bay. What used to be a 5 foot high railing around the front has now turned into an 8 foot high gang stopper! To top it off, they put LOADS of barbed wire around vunerable roofed areas, just in case you managed to get over the fence. It's ridiculous, but I suppose the place did have a bit of a vandalism problem.
but its for your own safety and its not too much like prison.

Heh, if townies had tried that at the school I used to go to...well the world would have a few less townies left. Sounds like your school has pretty crap security. All the schools I used to go to have had upgrades in the last few years which makes them more like prisons than schools...
