I keep having dreams that I die in. More often than not I am aware that I am going to die in it, but the odd time I'm not, like in one I was killed by a building collapse during a tornado. The strange thing is, after I have died, my friends can still see me, or my family can still hear me, but never both of these at the same time. A couple of times I have also witnessed my own funeral in these dreams.

Has anyone else ever had a dream like these?

hmm... A way that I have of destroying all evil nightmares is to put a Bible under your pillow, although I don't do this any more, instead I have a crucifix chain in my bed room. It has always worked, but I don't know if just works with people who actually believe in God, but it honestly did work, I have not had a nightmare for 5 years now.

Great advice. I had a bad nightmare once after playing Resi Evil 2 on my PlayStation for five hours...I didn't die, though. I woke up just in time.

Hmm...maybe this can be caused by stress? And the more stressed you are (maybe not even noticeably) the worse the dream is? Well, it's a theory...dreams are amazing things, you know...

They could be considered fun I suppose, but I suppose they could also kinda be like lesson in how not to leed your life because at the end of it you could end up dead.

I have only once had a dream where I died, it was easily the most vivid dream ever because it actually felt like I was not breathing.

However no one is getting any more detail than that because it would be embarassing to reveal any more. All I'll say is don't watch Buffy for 8 hours whilst drinking Bacardi. Seriously.

I never had the whole blackness, falling into a hole, or the white light thing, I suddenly switch from being alive to dead. Often it takes me time to realise it in the dream.
