I said "with our full knowledge and zero consequence" meaning with absolutely no repercussions to the IRA.
In fact, they had a load of convicted murders and terrorists let out of The Maize prison at Xmas, as a gesture of "Goodwill".

Ah but you forget our Bell gets his world view from The Daily Mail, which means:

This is not the worst thing I’ve heard of unfortunately. It has been known for an officer to commit a rape of a person in custody. You will find sick people everywhere.
