I am thinking about buying a GP32 after hearing that everyone who has one thinks there excellent.

but theres a few questions i need answering.

1) Can you hook it up to pc via USB ?

2) Can you Download films from the internet onto the gp32 then watch them back ?

3) what sort of software can you use with it ?

4) what are the games like ?

5) whats the mp3 like ?

thats it.

You've got to cnvert to a certain DivX format. Not sure which though. Goes a bit over my head and it doesn't bother me too much so I haven't really tried it out.

I do know that to play DivX properly, you'll need GPCinema - an official Divx player for the GP32. It costs though - about $5.

Ah - the turbo must be a GP32 that can be overclocked - or is set at 166Mhz. Mine is a standard one that can be overclocked to 166 so I'm lucky. Best to email GBAX to ask about the likelihood of overclocking the standard unit.

I'd still go for the standard one anyway, you hardly need the speed increase - it can run DOOM as ood as any PC just on standard settings!

Err? Come again? I thought there was only the standard (non-lit) one and the front-lit one. I got the front-lit one. It rocks.

Indeed it does. I have yet to play an official GP32 game. Might get a couple from Lik-Sang one day...
