if you want a new email address, then take this address for free.
go onto www.mail.com.

then type in your address [email protected]
and the password is: (no spaces) squashthosegerbils

this is not my email address, but please feel free to look at the messages, go through the address book, and use it if you want. if you want the address all for yourself, change the password when you go ionto it. please feel free to go onto this, muck about, keep the email address, prank email the users friends, or take over it. you dont need to go through all the membership and personal details rubbish, its readily avaliable. dont have to, but feel free.

Nope, wrong. Because the user is accessing his account. Granted you could probably access this account and get away with it if you did nothing at all with it. But if you sent an email, deleted something, did an action, then that user will know someone else has accessed the account. Many accounts also log all actions anyway and it could be noticed this way. The point is that it only takes this user to notice just one person has done something, for him/her to contact the ISP or email provider, who then check his real logins versus others, and then, even if you just looked, your IP is down and you're in the deep brown.

But hey, go ahead, see if I care.

Even accessing the account would be illegal Cubist. Many places now record IP's as well.

I think it's wrong too but if you feel strongly about it then why don't you go on and change the password to something really obscure then just forget it yourself? That way the guy/girl has to get a new account but it protects his/her privacy and all that at least?
