It's probably the virus protection software companies that manufacture most viruses anyway.
Yeah 'cause I can really see Microsoft's servers having a crap firewall... the only consequence of any virus is a load of people who insist on not having antivirus software being hit by it and moaning. I know of nobody who has the software ever having any problem as long as it is kept updated.
