Apparantly that's what we geordies say every day. Although in my 19 years of life I've only ever heard a couple of people ever mutter those words.

It's sort of like, well, like, only not.
Canny is another one. Means friendly/nice up here (apparantly it's the total opposite down south) but can also be used like this -
"It was canny good."
"He's canny gay, like."
See? Using like again.
"You canny dae that!"
We have the problem with say Like too though. That and You know:
"It was like amazing you know, totally like fantastic you know, you just know you know?"
